Event 9 is off and running and it’s time to give a quick update to our $250 Event that began at 11 am.

At the tail end of Level 3, registration has now tripled to 97 with about two hours to still buy in.

Event 9 Chip Leaders:

Dominick Pelli (during Fall Showdown 2014 Main Event)

Holding 193,000, Dominick is one our top 10 chip leaders in today’s $400 Event. Although Dom took 11th place in Tuesday’s Seniors Event, the most impressive payoff we witnessed here at Mohegan Sun was his third place cash in last year’s Fall Showdown Main Event for a prize of $17,942.

But it seems playing in mid-level buy in tournaments are his niche with 9 places in the money last year alone.

With approximately 169,000 chips in front of him is feeling out the competition during today’s $400 Day 2.

Making it into the money has not been an issue for David. Last year in May, David took home $23,608 for 2nd place in Foxwoods’ $600 NLH 125K Guarantee during the MegaStack Challenge. David later in December also took a prize of $10,917 for his 8th place in Foxwoods’ end of the year MegaStack Challenge $600 NLH Tournament.
